Biography
Zeo is a grime and rap artist whose work is rooted in intensity, precision and long-term connection rather than hype. His music attracts a tightly connected, community-driven audience drawn to honesty, emotional weight and writing that does not dilute its message.
Emerging from Wolverhampton and shaped by the Midlands underground, Zeo built his foundations through live performance, pirate radio culture and a relentless focus on technical skill. Over time, his sound has evolved into a darker, more deliberate form of grime and rap that is emotionally driven, sharply written and direct. Independence remains central to his career, allowing him to move freely while retaining control of his direction.
His album Gambit stands as a focused artistic statement, written and recorded on his own terms. Alongside album projects, Zeo has released a run of standalone records that have connected widely, with Ego Death and Sick each surpassing one million streams across platforms, reinforcing the reach and longevity of his catalogue.
Zeo’s credibility is grounded in both collaboration and consistency. He has worked with respected figures in UK grime and rap including JME, P Money and Mr Traumatik. His live career includes headline shows in Birmingham and London, as well as tour support for Ocean Wisdom and Hopsin, expanding his audience without shifting his underground positioning.
Moving beyond standard formats, Zeo created a fully immersive album listening experience inside a former prison, transforming playback into a physical and conceptual event that reflected themes of pressure and control present in his music. This approach reflects a wider ethos built on fewer releases, deeper engagement and experiences designed to leave a lasting impression.
His music has also crossed into screen, with two tracks synced on the Apple TV+ series Disclaimer, alongside brand collaborations with Molson Coors and LADbible. Despite this reach, Zeo remains firmly independent, choosing to grow deliberately with an audience that values depth over noise.
Underground by choice, not by limitation, Zeo continues to evolve on his own terms, focused on craft, substance and long-term impact.
